Nice to hear you’re going to scape your BiOrb air at home! I bought a second hand one (their quite expensive in my opinion) myself but that still has the previous owners set-up in it. I’ve ordered some plants but honestly quite random as it was a bit harder to find a supplier with a nice variety and also due to a lack of knowing what to order to begin with. So it’s bound to be a bit of trial and error but that’s ok. I like them a lot though, they create a great effect whilst requiring very little maintenance. So definitely looking forward to that one!

Will be honest and say I’m not at all a fan of this trade show, if anything it goes to show why America is 15 years behind in the hobby… especially when you consider that the show is for the “big box” aquarium brands we have here in the US who are only concerned with how to profit off of ignorant people and spread misinformation. Way too many overstocked tanks and too much artificial decor, and the glofish stuff was just atrocious. Your tank was the best one there! I wonder what it will take for companies to start treating the Aquarium hobby in the US with respect.

There are some species of fish I haven’t seen before in the hobby. My favourite tank would be yours, what else! The Hydor setup was also very nice to look at. It’s almost unbelievable that glowfish seem so popular over there, but they also have disco and Las Vegas, no mystery there. I like the BiOrb but I wonder how long the plants in such a terrarium would last. Anyway, thanks for showing us around.

Please do the paludarium before the bio orb. I’m sure you would get plenty of volunteers for prep-monkey!

Jup, same. Glowfish no tanks. Did you take cycled media with you for the scape? Or additives?
Have fun, you will find some scapes

So far your tank is the best there, I like the tank itself a Lott , nice setup . You did try out the biorb air at the oase booth on a big event before setting it up at home, COOL,lol. Have a great stay and save travels.

Love that aquarium cabinet with the pull out drawer. Too bad all aquarium cabinets aren’t built like that. Your scape is beautiful too, George.

Super cool brother. I geeked out on the Oase stand. Such a cool design for an all in one

Really jealous! Have a great time and come back with some inspiration as it seems you have with the BioAir!!! GloFish are a huge in the US and am not a fan of them at all!

Thanks for Showing Goerge. I think BiOrb Air was cool. Would like to set one up with miniature Lady slipper orchids.

I’m going to import the black volcanic cotton soil that ADA uses as their aquasoil, but I have to import 1 US ton at a time, but it’s only $400, basically that’s 800 liters of Aquasoil for $400
